Art Deco Platinum Reverse Carved Rock Crystal & Diamond Cufflinks
These double-sided cufflinks from the Art Deco (ca1920) era are simply lovely! Each cufflink features two octagonal plaques carved from rock quartz crystal. A platinum border with a fine engine turned pattern surrounds each plaque. The reverse side of each plaque is carved with a starburst motif, which shows through to the front as a pattern of rays. A sparkling diamond rests at the center, surrounded by a black onyx border. Connecting the cufflinks an engraved infinity link on the back, made of white gold. A stunning pair of Art Deco cufflinks, they would look equally nice worn by a woman or man!
Measurements: Each cufflink face has a 1/2" diameter and measures 3/16" thick. The space in between each cufflink measures 3/4" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the cufflinks is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting. The rock quartz crystal plaques are free of chips or scratches, and the onyx and diamond accents are intact.
