Art Deco Sterling Sodalite & Rock Quartz Crystal Drop Earrings
A beautiful pair of sodalite stone earrings from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Made of sterling silver, the earrings hang from fine strands of chain and have a lovely drop design. Dangling at the base is a sodalite ball link, which is smoothly polished with a beautiful rich blue color. Sandwiched in the center of the split sodalite halves is a rock quartz crystal disc, which has a faceted edge and catches the light beautifully in movement. Additional sodalite cabochons are interspersed throughout the chain and framed within the surmount, which has a post on the back. When worn, they frame the face nicely and dangle with lovely movement. A beautiful and artistic pair of earrings, they would look lovely worn day or night!
Measurements: The earrings hang 2 5/8" long from top to bottom. The sodalite ball links at the base measure 10mm in size.
Conditions: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver setting or to the sodalite and rock quartz crystal links, which are free of chips or scratches.
