Art Deco 18kt Opal Diamond Earrings
A gorgeous pair of opal earrings from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Made of 18kt white gold, these beautiful earrings are detailed with opals and diamonds and have a lovely, feminine design. Stunning triangular shaped opal cabochons are prong set at the top of each earring, resting amidst a flat, diamond encrusted frame. Dangling from the opal surmounts are 2 bezel set old European Cut diamonds, which connect to a large, tear drop opal at the bottom. The opals are simply mesmerizing, displaying an array of iridescent colors including green, blue, violet, pink and yellow that flash in the light. The earrings attach to the ear by a simple post at the top. A wonderful pair of opal earrings, they would look lovely worn everyday or for special occasions!
Measurements: The earrings hang 1 5/8" long, measure 3/8" at the widest point, and are 1/4" at the thickest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the opals and diamond stones, all of which are intact. The earring posts are secure and in good condition.
