A gorgeous Art Nouveau (ca1910s) era bracelet by Newark, NJ maker King & Dreher! This slip-on style bangle is crafted in 14kt yellow gold, and features a lovely carved pattern covering the entire outer surface. The design comes alive with an intricate flowing floral motif, featuring a variety of flowers, surrounded by gorgeous leafy and flourishing details. The inside of the bangle is stamped with a "14" next to the King & Dreher "KD" maker's mark. A lovely everyday piece that is very lightweight, it would look beautiful worn alone or grouped with other bracelets for a layered look. It would make a fabulous addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The interior opening of the bracelet (where your wrist would rest) measures approximately 2 5/8" wide and a little more than 2 1/8" tall. The surface measures 5/16" wide and 1/8" thick. It would fit nicely on a small to average sized wrist.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is great. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the etched design or gold except for a very small fracture along the edge. Fortunately, due to the unique design of the bracelet, it can not be seen when worn and does not affect the overall integrity of the piece.
