Art Deco French, 18kt Onyx, Enamel & Diamond Cufflinks
Beautiful mixed metals cufflinks from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Made of platinum-topped 18kt yellow gold, these double-sided French cufflinks have a very attractive design. A sparkling diamond rests at the center of each round cufflink face. The diamond is bezel set atop a raised onyx link, and is surrounded by a platinum border. The platinum has an engined turned design that gives the surface a grooved pattern. A black enamel stripe forms the border, framed by gold veins on either side. Connecting the cufflinks together is a gold link on the back, and French hallmarks are stamped on the reverse of each link. A stunning pair of turn-of-the-century cufflinks, they would look equally nice worn by a woman or man!
Measurements: Each cufflink face has a 1/2" diameter. The space in between each cufflink measures 7/8" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the cufflinks is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting, or to enamel, onyx, or diamonds.
