Edwardian Platinum/14kt Mine Cut Diamond Heart & Arrow Ring 1ctw+
An absolutely exquisite and unusual diamond heart ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This striking piece, which is crafted in 14kt yellow gold and platinum, depicts a diamond encrusted heart center which has a shooting arrow resting at both shoulders. The 3-dimensional centerpiece portrays the romantic and classic design of an arrow shooting through the center of a heart, and displays approximately 1.25ctw of old Mine Cut diamonds ( I-J color range, VS clarity) which are pave set along the entire surface of the puffed heart as well as on both ends of the arrow. The arrows' point and fletching have a realistic appearance and both curve beautifully around the finger when worn. The band of the ring is 14kt yellow gold, while the heart and arrow centerpiece are topped in platinum, creating a fabulous mixed metals look. The piece has an absolutely beautiful and romantic design and the ring would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The heart face of the ring measures slightly less than 5/8" tall and 1/2” wide; when including the shooting arrow, the centerpiece measures 3/4" wide. The ring has a finger size 4.75, but could be resized if desired.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting and all of the diamonds are intact.
