Edwardian Platinum French Cut Diamond Earrings
A lovely pair of quartz and diamond stud earrings from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! Made of platinum, each earring is comprised of a clear cabochon quartz stone surrounded by a delicate .80ctw French Cut diamond halo border. The quartz has a wonderful iridescent look with a frosted, matte surface, and the diamonds add a beautiful sparkle! On the back of each earring is a platinum post and back, the back which is stamped "PLAT". Both simple and feminine, these Edwardian earrings are ideal for everyday wear and would make a perfect addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The earrings have a diameter of 1/2" and a depth of 3/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to the quartz stones and diamonds, all of which are intact. The posts are secure and in good condition.
