Victorian 14kt Enamel & Diamond Masquerade Stick Pin
A wonderful and collectable stick pin from the Victorian (ca1880) era! The pin is crafted from 14kt gold and portrays a miniature eye mask, which is decorated with vibrant red enamel and delicate Rose Cut diamonds for eyes. The mask looks very realistic, with an ellipse-shaped design and a raised ridge to fit over wearer's nose. It resembles the beautiful masks worn to elaborate Masquerade balls during the Victorian era! Below the mask is a simple yellow gold stick pin, which is fairly long and detailed with an engraved line that spirals down the length of the pin.
Measurements: The stickpin measures 2 3/4" in total length; the mask top measures approximately 1/2" wide, 1/4" tall and 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the stickpin is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or enamel and both diamonds are intact.
