Victorian 15kt/Sterling Diamond Trefoil Dangling Earrings

SKU: 41824

A lovely and delicate pair of diamond trefoil earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Each earring is crafted in 15kt gold topped in sterling silver, and has a 3-leaf clover design known as a "trefoil." Three sparkling old Rose Cut diamonds form the "leaves" of the trefoil-shaped cluster, and a fine stem curls out from the base, two delicate diamonds set within the surface. The trefoil link attaches to a clasped leverback earring wire and dangling freely from the bottom of each is a single, prong set old Mine Cut diamond. A very sweet and feminine design, the earrings are ideal for day or night wear, and would compliment any collection!

Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 1 1/8" long, including the lever back wires, and measures a little less than 1/4" wide.

Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver topped gold setting or to the diamonds, all of which are intact and securely set. The lever back earring wires are secure and in good working condition.
