Victorian Gunmetal Perfume Bottle/Flask Pendant
A wonderful and unusual gunmetal pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! The pendant takes shape in a small gunmetal bottle that hangs from a swinging handle at the top. The bottle has a hinged lid that opens to reveal a hollow compartment inside, allowing the wearer to store liquid inside the flask or a favorite perfumed scent. The metal handle and lip of the pendant have a beautiful rosy gold color that contrasts perfectly with the charcoal gunmetal finish. At the top of the handle is a large open ring, allowing it to be easily hung and worn from a favorite chain. A very unique Victorian pendant, it would make a special addition to any collection!
Measurements: The entire pendant hangs slightly more than 2" long. The bottle itself measures 1 3/4" tall, 3/4" wide and 3/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. There is some surface wear to the outside of the bottle and handle, which is normal for a Victorian era piece. The lid opens and shuts securely, and the handle and bail are both intact.
