Victorian Sterling "Cut Steel" Hammered Ball Bracelet

SKU: 37852

An unusual sterling silver bangle bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! The unique design is decorated with two rows of 3-dimensional raised ball accents across the front of the piece. Their hammered surface mimics the appearance of cut steel and adds wonderful texture to the piece! The bracelet is hinged and fastens at a push clasp at the side, where a safety chain provides extra security. A striking Victorian piece, the bracelet is rich in detail and displays exemplary craftsmanship. Worn alone or stacked with other complimentary bracelets, it would make a beautiful addition to any collection!

Measurements: The surface of the bracelet measures approximately 1/2" wide. The inside opening (where your wrist would rest) measures 2 1/4" wide and approximately 1 7/8" tall and would fit nicely on an average sized wrist.

Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is very good. The clasp and hinge are secure, and the safety chain is intact. There is no apparent damage to the hammered ball design or sterling setting. A natural patina on the surface of the silver adds a darkened antique appearance, which is normal for a Victorian era piece and adds depth to the design.
