Art Deco 14kt French Cut Aquamarine Ring 6.00ct
A fabulous aquamarine ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This stunning piece is crafted in 14kt white gold, and adorns a French Cut aquamarine at the center of a decorative band. The octagonal shaped stone weighs approximately 6.00ct and rests in a bezel setting, exhibiting a vibrant translucent sky blue hue. A beautiful carved motif embellishes the wide shoulders, and features overlapping flowers and leaves with stems that trail onto the slightly graduated band. The floral motif provides a wonderful textured appeal to the design, and a smoothly polished shank rests at the back, which is stamped on the inside with a "14K" gold purity mark. Perfect for a man or a woman, this ring would make a fabulous statement piece when worn!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 8.25 but could easily be re-sized. The aquamarine mounting measures approximately 1/2" tall, and slightly less than 1/2" wide. The centerpiece rests about 1/4" above the finger when worn. The band measures 4mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting or to the aquamarine stone, which is intact and securely set.
