An absolutely exquisite diamond ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Crafted in platinum, this fabulous piece carries and unusual and striking design with featuring old European Cut diamonds, set within a stunning elongated filigree mounting. The three center stones are set in an octagonal shaped box, resting vertically along the face, while the two outer stones are bezel set, resting on the shoulders. The ring has a beautiful flowing design, interlaced with geometric and floral shaped wirework and a soft etched design which carries down the sides of the band. The overall total diamond weight of the ring is approximately 2.63ctw and the stones have color in the I-K range and clarity in the SI1-2 range. The shank is stamped "PLATINUM". The ring appraised in February 2014 by a GIA-certified Gemologist and has a stated retail replacement value of $12,000.00. It is an absolutely beautiful ring and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 5 but it could easily be re-sized. The elongated platinum center measures 7/8" tall and 5/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to the diamonds, all of which are intact.
