Art Deco Platinum Pear Cut Diamond Earrings 2.66ctw
An exquisite pair of diamond earrings from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Each earring begins with a single old European Cut diamond stone set within a platinum bezel setting. The diamonds have an approximate total weight of 0.53ct tw. The stones have clarity in the VS range and color in the G-H range. Dangling from the surmount is a single Pear shaped diamond which is also bezel set in platinum. One of the pear shaped stones weighs approximately 1.01ct with H color and SI2 clarity and the other weighs 1.12ct with I color and SI2 clarity. The earrings have screw back posts for added security. The earrings were appraised by an accredited and independent GIA certified Gemologist in January 2013, and have a stated retail replacement value of $17,000.00. These fabulous earrings would make a gorgeous addition to any collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 5/8" long, are a little more than 1/4" wide and have a depth of 1/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. There is no damage to the diamond stones and the posts are secure and in good working condition.
