Arts & Crafts Sterling Blue Chalcedony Cabochon Ring 40.00ct
A gorgeous blue chalcedony ring from the Arts & Crafts (ca1910) era! Crafted in sterling silver, this bold piece adorns an approximately 40.00ct chalcedony bullet cabochon which rests in a decorative setting. The bezel set stone exhibits a natural milky periwinkle blue color with subtle light brown coloring in the center, and the surface is smoothly polished throughout. Split shank shoulders curl around to meet a circular wirework mounting that creates delicate cutouts visible from the sides. Finishing the design is a smoothly polished band embellished with grooved lines that wraps around the back, and stamped inside of the shank is a maker's mark "VER." This fabulous piece blends seamlessly into modern day fashion and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7.25 but it could easily be resized. The centerpiece measures approximately 3/4" in diameter, and rests about 5/8" above the finger when worn. The band measures 2.5mm at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the sterling silver setting, and the chalcedony is intact and securely set.
