Victorian 18kt Diamond Cluster Ring 1.60ctw
A gorgeous diamond cluster ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This beautiful 14kt gold ring holds a sparkling cluster of old Mine Cut diamonds at the center. The center prong-set stone weighs approximately 0.70ct and has I color and SI1 clarity. Surrounding the larger diamond is a halo of 9 additional stones, which have a combined weight of approximately 0.90ctw. with H-J range color and SI1-SI2 range clarity. All of the surrounding diamonds are prong and tension set, and sparkle beautifully in the bright gold setting! The total approximate carat weight of the entire piece is 1.60ctw. The smooth gold tapered gold band has cathedral-style sides, and the shank is stamped "14K" inside. A marvelous Victorian piece, it would look lovely worn day or night, and could make a beautiful engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 7, but it could easily be re-sized up or down if desired. The diamond cluster measures approximately 1/2" in diameter, and rests 1/4" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the diamonds are intact.
