MARSH & CO. 18kt Blackened Steel Pearl & Diamond Ring

SKU: 34950

Marsh & Company opened in the San Francisco area in 1876. Originally selling Asian art, the company soon branched out into jewelry. From the late 1940’s to the early 1960’s the company became well known for its use of oxidized steel in making their unique pieces of jewelry!

This Vintage (ca1950's) Marsh & Company ring is a beautiful example of the company's unique style! The ring is made of blackened steel, which has been oxidized to create its wonderfully dark, matte finish. At the center of the ring is a single lustrous pearl, sitting raised above the surface. At either side of the ring is an 18kt white gold chevron, accented with a single sparkling diamond. Each diamond weighs approximately 0.05ct and is held within a bead setting surrounded by delicate milgrain detail. The simple black and white color scheme of the ring is both versatile and fashionable, making it suitable for daily wear or special occasions. This fabulous ring has a wonderful look that would make a very special addition to any Marsh & Company collection!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.5. The pearl measures 8mm and sits approximately 3/8" above the finger when worn.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the blackened steel or gold. The pearl and diamonds are both intact and in good condition.
