A beautiful opal band from the Retro (ca1940s) era! This lovely piece is crafted in 14kt yellow gold and displays a beautiful, detailed design. A carved floral motif carries around the entire outside surface of the ring, bordered by an eye-catching etched rim on either edge. Surrounding each open wirework flower are delicate cut out shapes, providing a wonderful airiness to the design. Adorning the center of each flower is a gorgeous opal cabochon that exhibits a magnificent rainbow of iridescent shades of green, blue, violet, orange, and gold. The inside of the shank is stamped with a "14K" gold purity mark next to a small maker's mark. A beautiful and artistic piece, the ring could be worn alone or stacked with other complementary rings.

Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.5, but could be resized slightly, if desired. The surface of the band measures 11mm wide. 

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold setting and all of the opals are intact and securely set.
