A gorgeous emerald and diamond ring from the early Retro (ca1930) period! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold topped in sterling silver, this stunning piece adorns 2 emerald cabochon stones, which are prong set at the center of a beautiful band. The vibrant color of the emeralds, which weigh approximately 2.00ctw, look fabulous against the sparkling diamonds. A total of 28 Single Cut diamonds curve along the top and bottom of the emeralds, trailing onto the shoulders, each one bead set in a milgrained box mounting. A fantastic filigree wirework design graces the mounting, and finishing the design is a smoothly polish band that wraps around the back. A unique and stunning ring, it would make a fabulous addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring is a size 6.75 but could easily be resized. The centerpiece measures approximately 3/4" tall, 1/2" wide, and sits slightly less than 3/8" atop your finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear there is no serious damage to the silver topped gold setting or to the emeralds and all of the stones are intact.
