Victorian 10kt Diamond + Ruby 3-Stone Bangle Bracelet
A wonderful diamond and ruby bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Crafted in 10kt yellow gold, this hinged bangle features three sparkling stones set across the front surface. Two faceted rubies rest on either side of an old Mine Cut diamond, all catching the light beautifully with every turn. The rubies displays a gorgeous pinkish red hue, creating a wonderful and lively pop of color next to the sparking diamond. Encircling each prong set stone is an open channel, creating the appearance that the stones are "floating" within the setting. Finishing the design is a simple and smooth gold band, the perfect background for the sparkling gems! The bracelet is hinged and fastens with a simple push clasp and safety latch on the side, and stamped on the underside of the tongue is "PAT. PEND." and a "10K" gold purity mark. The bangle's versatile design would look wonderful worn alone, or stacked with other complimentary bracelets. A gorgeous and feminine piece, it would make a stylish addition to any collection!
Measurements: The inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures approximately 2 1/4" wide and 1 7/8" tall. It would fit nicely on an average sized wrist. The surface of the bangle measures slightly less than 1/4 wide, and slightly more than 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, however there are a few very small dents to the surface edge, one along the front and two on the back, none of which are noticeable when worn due to the size and location. The diamond and rubies are secure and intact. The push clasp and latch are secure and in good working order.
