Victorian 15kt Gold Etruscan Wirework Alternating Bead Necklace 16.5"
A fantastic Etruscan beaded necklace from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! This beautiful and unique piece is crafted in vibrant 15kt yellow gold and comprised of a pattern of alternating beads. The beads, all strung on a braided gold chain, display a lovely pattern of Etruscan wirework-adorned round beads, matching spacers, and smoothly polished beads, the varying trio of shapes and textures coming together to create wonderful dimension and shine. Bell-shaped beads with an Etruscan surface complete the design at each end and a large spring ring clasp secures the piece in the back. Beautiful when worn during the day or at night, this necklace would make a wonderful addition to any Victorian collection!
Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 16.5" in total length. The round beads measure about 1/4" in diameter, the widest point of the necklace.
Condition: The necklace is in overall excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold beads or to the fine Etruscan wirework. The spring ring clasp is secure and in good working condition.
