Victorian 18kt Horseshoe English Diamond & Pearl Ring
A lovely diamond and pearl horseshoe ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! A popular style during the Victorian period, this beautiful piece has a lucky horseshoe at the center of the ring. The ring is made of 18kt yellow gold and the raised horseshoe center has a single old Rose Cut diamond set in the center. Around the border of the shoe are 7 flat "nail heads" and the band of the ring has a scalloped border along the shoulders. Raised boxes rest on either side of horseshoe, each detailed with 3 natural seed pearls and bordered by a textured, stamped frame. The inside shank of the ring has several English hallmarks: a crown, and an anchor along with the number "18" and the letter "m". It's a lovely and feminine piece and would be a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.5 but could easily be resized. The band measures a little more than 1/4" at the widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and all of the pearls and diamond are intact.
