Victorian Gold-Filled Fancy Link Chain with Watch Clasp 54"
A lovely gold-filled chain from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This decorative chain is comprised of fancy, hollow links that feet at a watch clasp in the center. Each link has a textured surface and delicate cutout shapes, adding further depth to the beautiful design. The watch clasp makes it possible to hang a complimentary pendant, locket, or fob from the center. Stamped on the side of the clasp is a maker's hallmark, which reads "NCR CO." Thanks to the generous length of the chain, it can be easily slipped on and off overhead, and even doubled for a layered look if desired. Both beautiful and versatile, this chain would make a perfect addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: The entire length of the chain measures approximately 54" long. The watch clasp hangs 7/8" long at the center.
Condition: The overall condition of the chain is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the any of the gold-filled chain links. The watch clasp fastens securely and is in good working condition.
