Victorian Petite 14kt Ruby Rose Cut Diamond Cluster Ring

SKU: 38825

A beautiful ruby and diamond ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! The ring has a petite and feminine design crafted in silver-topped 14kt gold. At the center is a luscious oval ruby, which is prong set in gold and beautifully faceted. A border of delicate rose cut diamonds surrounds the central ruby stone, forming a sparkling halo! Each diamond is individually bezel set in silver, creating a petal-like appearance. Completing the design is a simple and smooth gold band, which is stamped "585" inside the shank. Beautiful and delicate, this charming Victorian piece would make a wonderful antique accessory or a unique gemstone engagement ring!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.5, but could be easily resized up or down as desired. The ruby and diamond centerpiece measures 3/8" tall, 5/16" wide, and rests approximately 1/4" high.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver-topped gold setting, and the ruby and accent diamonds are all intact and securely set. There is a natural patina on the surface of the setting, which is normal for antique jewelry and adds to its unique character and appearance.
