Vintage 14kt "In Case of Emergency Break Glass" Dollar Charm
A delightful and humorous Vintage gold charm from the 1950's! This unusual and collectable piece is made of 14kt yellow gold and portrays a small gold canister with a glass lid. A twisted gold wire criss-cross at the top of the lid secures it in place. Through the glass lid, a single dollar bill is visible, which is tightly coiled to fit snugly inside. Black letters on the side of the gold canister read "IN CASE OF EMERGENCY BREAK GLASS". The charm hangs on a tilt by a small gold loop, which is attached at the top side. On the bottom of the canister is the stamp "WL14K." The charm would look wonderful worn hanging from a simple gold chain or as an addition to a charm bracelet. A wonderful miniature piece, it would make a creative gift or fun addition to any collection!
Measurements: The charm measures 3/4" tall and is 3/8" wide and thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the charm is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold canister or glass lid, and the dollar bill inside is intact.
