Vintage 18kt Round + Baguette Cut Diamond Ballerina Ring 0.86ct
A gorgeous vintage diamond ring from the 1960s! The 18kt white gold centerpiece features a Round Cut diamond surrounded by a beautiful "ballerina" design. The sparkling center stone weighs 0.86ct, displaying H color and VS1 clarity. The diamond rests in a high prong setting, emerging from a light-catching swirl of Baguette Cut diamonds. The surrounding stones collectively weigh 1.20ctw and create the lovely appearance of a ballerina's tutu. The incredible high prong setting of this style of ring gives it a stunning and unique look from every angle! A simple polished white gold band rests at the back, and the shank is stamped "18K." The ring was appraised in September 2018 by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Graduate Gemologist, and has a stated retail replacement value of $9,000.00. A positively breathtaking vintage piece, it could make a stunning engagement ring, or be worn to mark a special occasion!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5.25 but could be easily re-sized. The diamond centerpiece measures 1/2" long, approximately 5/8 wide, and rests a little under 1/2" above the finger when worn. The band measures approximately 3mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting and all of the diamonds are secure and intact.
