Art Deco Sterling "Pools of Light" Rock Quartz Necklace
A fantastic and unusual rock quartz crystal necklace from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Traditionally known as "Pools of Light", this beaded necklace is comprised of 20 smooth spheres of rock quartz crystal connected to each other by small sterling silver links. Surrounding each crystal ball is an ornate sterling silver floral bezel that wraps around the outside. The necklace clasps in the back at a simple sterling spring clasp. Pools of Light crystals have a striking appearance when worn and this necklace is particularly stunning because of its feminine floral motif. It would make a gorgeous addition to any collection!
Measurements: The entire length of the necklace measures 23" long. Each rock quartz crystal "Pool of Light" has a diameter of approximately 16mm.
Condition: The overall condition of this necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage or chips to any of the Pools of Light or to the sterling silver links. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
